GrantTree was founded in 2010 by Paulina and Daniel Tenner, out of a desire to
deliver tangible support to startups, tech companies, and other innovators, and to
improve the ecosystem of support for these companies. They also wanted GrantTree
to be an innovative business, and to explore different ways of working. This vision
still holds true today, and we call it ‘open culture’.
We have total transparency/trust across GrantTree, from our communication to our salaries. This breaks down the hierarchal barriers often found within companies, enabling us to increase our effectiveness across everything we do.
Within any business, it goes without saying that communication is paramount.
At GrantTree, we actively encourage collaboration and communication – even the trickiest conversations are tackled head-on so that we can work as a well-oiled machine, rather than several separate parts.
Change is good. At GrantTree, we pride ourselves on being fluid and nimble – something often not common in financial services! If we see a new product or process that can help our clients, we want to get it out as quickly as possible to enable them to fulfil their potential, not stagnate in ’this is the way it’s always been done’.
