James is a Financial Consultant in GrantTree’s R&D tax team. He works to prepare the financial portion of R&D Tax Relief claims, ensuring our clients receive their full funding entitlement while protecting them from HMRC scrutiny by maintaining compliance with the scheme’s exacting legislation.
James joined GrantTree in 2025 and brings four years of finance and accounting experience to the team, spanning media, entertainment and international financial consultancy. He has a Bachelor’s in Music Production from the University of East London. Outside of work, James likes writing and recording music and doing a bit of plane spotting.
