Prof Stuart Semple is an Innovation Bid Writer at GrantTree, helping companies to gain funding for their cutting-edge research and development work. An Emeritus Professor of Life and Health Sciences, he joined GrantTree in 2023, having previously worked in academia for over 25 years. Stuart has extensive experience in bid writing and has secured funding from UK Research Councils and government, as well as international charitable foundations and industry. Outside of work, he has a passion for surfing, but his enthusiasm for riding waves is not always matched by his ability.
